Reclaiming the Lens: Palestine
Join Gulf Photo Plus Curator Mohamed Somji on a powerful photographic journey across Palestine told through the lens of Palestinian artists. These images are more than art. They are archives, fragments of memory, and acts of resistance. Each body of work reveals how a photographer’s life, and the lives they document, are shaped by occupation, offering a deeply personal window into daily reality. Every photograph preserves a piece of a homeland under threat, capturing not only what is being lost, but also what endures: love, resilience, and the unshakable bond between people and place. This is an opportunity to witness how photography can defy erasure, hold memory, and honour a land and its people through the power of the image.
