Ahmed Elmorsy
Ahmed Elmorsy is an Egyptian novelist and journalist. His novels include What Remains of the Sun, Destined, and Gambling on the Honour of Lady Mitzi, which was shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction in 2023. He won the Sawiris Cultural Award in 2020.
He works for several Egyptian and Arab television channels and newspapers. Combining journalism with literary creativity, he is an active participant in literary festivals, confirming his position as one of the leading voices in contemporary Egyptian fiction.
