Aloush Alswait
Aloush Alswait is a programme producer and presenter. Active in the literary and cultural scene, he is a member of the Emirates Writers Union and hosts literary programmes on Sharjah Radio and Television.
He is the founder and director of the Poetry Lab podcast, which features poets and writers from the UAE discussing their creative experiences and contemporary developments in Arabic poetry. Currently completing a master’s degree in Arabic Literary Criticism at Stockholm University, he is researching modern interpretations of Al-Mutanabbi’s poetry through the lens of contemporary critical theory.
