Awais Khan

Awais Khan is an author, TEDx speaker and University of Western Ontario, Durham University and Faber Academy graduate. His debut novel In the Company of Strangers, was published in 2019 to much critical acclaim and its media adaptation rights were given to Pikchur TV in 2022. His subsequent novel No Honour was published in 2021 and featured in Woman and Home, BuzzFeed, Heat, the National and other leading publications. His latest novel Someone Like Her was published in 2023.

Khan has been longlisted for the Short Story Dagger and shortlisted for the Dead Good Reader Awards. He has served on the judging panel for the Cheshire Novel Prize and the Gwyl Crime Cymru First Novel Award. He regularly appears on television and radio such as BBC World Service, Voice of America, Dubai Eye and Cambridge Radio. Khan is also an instructor of a popular online creative writing course.

He lives in Lahore, Pakistan. When not working, he has his nose buried in a book.
