A prominent Emirati writer, Ayesha Sultan previously served as Head of the Cultural Section at Al-Bayan newspaper, where she also writes a daily column.
She has several significant literary and intellectual publications to her credit, including Alphabets, Winter of Tales, In Praise of Memory, and Margins of Cities, Travel, and Departure. She has also published the short story collection Cold Fear.
Ayesha Sultan is considered one of the most influential female voices in the Emirati cultural scene, and her writing is distinguished by its intellectual depth and contemplation.
