Carlos Andrés Gómez
Carlos Andrés Gómez is an International Book Award-winning author, poet, performer, and educator who has shared his work at more than 1,500 universities, schools, companies, conferences, and festivals.
His poetry collection Fractures won the Felix Pollak Prize, selected by Pulitzer Prize winner Natasha Trethewey. He is also a two-time International Poetry Slam Champion. Gómez has appeared on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, and in Spike Lee’s film Inside Man.
He partnered with John Legend on Senior Orientation, a programme to counter bullying.
