Dai Rahmi
Dai Rahmi an Egyptian translator specialising in English, began her career in political and economic translation before turning to literary translation, particularly poetry. She has translated works by some of the world’s most prominent poets, such as Maya Angelou, Pablo Neruda, and Sylvia Plath.
She currently has three novels in print with the Egyptian publishing house Asser Al-Kotob. Rahmi also works in the humanitarian field, and seeks, through translation, to build a cultural bridge between languages, giving Arab readers the opportunity to learn about diverse human and intellectual experiences.
