Danabelle Gutierrez
Danabelle Gutierrez is an award-winning artist, writer, actress, and photographer whose work spans continents and disciplines. She has shared her poetry on stages across the UAE, Riyadh, London, New York, Houston, and notably in Washington DC, where she represented the UAE as a poetry delegate at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Gutierrez is the author of Tears Across the Earth, a collection of short stories and poems, as well as the poetry books Until The Dreams Come and I Long To Be The River, and chapbooks Eventually, The River Surrenders, and Softer. Her most recent collection, The F Word, was published in September 2024. Her writing has appeared in The Common, Cordite Poetry Review, Postscript Magazine, ElectraStreet, WordsDance, and in video form for Vogue Arabia, among other publications. Born in Las Piñas and raised in Cairo, Vienna, and Muscat, Danabelle now lives in Dubai with her son.
