Ghanim Samarrai
Dr. Ghanim Samarrai is a scholar and researcher in Comparative Literature and Translation, serving as a professor at the University of Sharjah.
He served as Head of the English Department at the University between 2014 and 2018.
Dr. Samarrai holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Portsmouth in the UK.
He is a member of several international literary associations and has authored numerous critical and academic works.
He was honored for his role in editing and translating the book “Sharjah Through the Eyes of Poets” by the Sharjah Department of Culture
