Greg Mosse
Greg Mosse began his career in theatre as an actor, director, and writer, living and working across Paris, New York, Los Angeles, and Madrid, primarily as a translator and interpreter. In 2015, he returned to the stage, writing and producing 25 plays and musicals as well as four short films. During the 2020 lockdown, he fulfilled a long-held ambition to write a thriller, publishing The Coming Darkness (Moonflower), followed by two sequels, The Coming Storm (April 2024) and The Coming Fire (July 2025). He also continues his 1972 cosy crime series, The Maisie Cooper Mysteries (Hodder & Stoughton), which reached its sixth volume, Murder at the Wedding, in May 2025. Founder and leader of the Criterion New Writing theatre script development programme, Mosse combines his passion for storytelling with mentorship, and he is married to international bestselling author Kate Mosse.
