Hafsa Lodi
Hafsa Lodi is an award-winning journalist editor with more than a decade of experience covering fashion and culture. Holding a BA in Journalism and an MA in Islamic Law, she has written about the intersections of faith, fashion and feminism for publications like The Independent, The National, The Guardian, Business Insider, Vogue Arabia, Teen Vogue, Glamour and more. Her debut non-fiction book, Modesty: A Fashion Paradox, launched at the 2020 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature and examines the causes, controversies, and cultural significance of modest fashion. Turbulence, which tells the fictional story of an aspiring filmmaker who trades in her career for marriage and motherhood, is Hafsa's first novel.
