Hamda Alzarooni
Hamda Alzarooni is an Emirati researcher specialising in history and cultural heritage, she holds an executive administrative position at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage. She has three master’s degrees in heritage conservation and museum management, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She previously worked at the Sharjah Museums Authority.
She has published two books: Entertainment in Iraq and the Levant (2021), and Manifestations of Textile Art in Arab Heritage Sources (2023). She has also published scholarly research, including Perfumes Across Historical Civilisations, and won the Best Research and Studies in Cultural Heritage Award for 2023 from the Sharjah International Award for Cultural Heritage.
