Hassan Alnajjar
A poet and researcher who earned a PhD in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Sharjah in 2023. His poetry collection “We Take Off the Shadow at the Doorstep” was longlisted for the Sheikh Zayed Book Award in 2024, and he won the Golden Feather at the Arab Student Poets Forum in Tunisia in 2020. He has published four classical Arabic poetry collections: “We Take Off the Shadow at the Doorstep” (Takween Publications, Kuwait, 2023), “On His Pillow, a Touch of Anxiety” (Arab Scientific Publishers, Beirut, 2017), “The Spirit’s Dove” (Department of Culture and Information, Sharjah, 2011), and “The Nostalgia of Mirrors” (Private Edition, 2007). He also authored a critical study titled “Place in Poetry: Ibrahim Mohammed Ibrahim as a Model” (Department of Culture, Sharjah, 2020), continuing to enrich the Arab literary and critical scene through his works.
