Hessa Almehairi
Hessa Almehairi is an Emirati children’s book author and illustrator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Illustration.
Almehairi is the author of Whose Footprints Are These? and The Dinoraf, the latter of which won the Sheikh Zayed Book Award in 2018. She also illustrated The Pearl Diver’s Daughter by Maitha Al-Khayat.
Before becoming a freelance illustrator, she worked in the field of children’s education.
