Dr. Huda Alshamsi is an Emirati critic, writer, and researcher, recognized as one of the leading cultural and academic voices in the UAE. She combines deep academic expertise with creative cultural engagement and currently serves as Head of General Studies at the Higher Colleges of Technology – Ras Al Khaimah campus, where she leads multidisciplinary academic teams and oversees thousands of students annually, with a proven record in curriculum development, academic quality, and fostering innovation in teaching. She has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Sheikha Shamsa bint Suhail Award for Creative Women, the Khalifa Award for Digital Teacher, and the “My Thesis in 1000 Words” Award at the level of Islamic world universities, and has been honored by various educational and cultural institutions for her impactful contributions to research and community service. Dr. Al Shamsi is the author of two intellectual works: “Whispers of a Teacher” and “Beyond the Barracks: Military Sociology,” alongside her active research in sociology, identity, education, and artificial intelligence, publishing in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus in both Arabic and English. She is regarded as an influential Emirati voice in youth empowerment, national identity, and cultural advocacy, and is a frequent speaker at regional and international conferences.
