Inua Ellams
Born in Nigeria, Inua Ellams is a poet, playwright, performer, graphic artist, and designer whose multidisciplinary work explores themes of identity, displacement, and destiny. He is the founder of several innovative cultural projects, including The Midnight Run, an arts-filled, nighttime urban walking experience; The Rhythm and Poetry Party (The R.A.P Party), which celebrates live literature and music; and Poetry + Film / Hack (P+F/H), which merges poetry and film. Ellams’ work often blends the traditional with the contemporary, weaving African oral storytelling with modern poetics, and combining tactile media with digital artistry. His writing is published by Flipped Eye, Akashic, Nine Arches, Penned In The Margins, and Bloomsbury.
