Jennah Fakhouri
Jennah Fakhouri is an avid writer, award-winning poet, and wandering spirit who seeks new experiences to tame her insatiable wanderlust. She uses her voice to offer fresh perspectives on global issues and personal journeys, especially around refugees, shaped by her Palestinian American heritage. Her poetry draws from volunteering in Morocco, Egypt, and the West Bank, and her struggle to turn a fragmented identity into a place called Home.
Jennah is also the founder of Zajal, a literary brand that celebrates culture and champions diverse voices. Through poetry, performance, and storytelling, Zajal creates spaces for connection and community. Making the world a little kinder, one story at a time.
