Kelly L Weinersmith
Dr Kelly Weinersmith is an award-winning author, and adjunct faculty member at Rice University, whose research has been featured in The Atlantic, National Geographic, and BBC World Science and Nature. She is the co-author of The New York Times bestsellers Soonish: Ten Emerging Technologies That’ll Improve And/Or Ruin Everything, and A City on Mars, which won a Hugo Award, and the Royal Society Trivedi Book Prize, in 2024. Weinersmith is also co-host of the podcast Daniel and Kelly’s Extraordinary Universe, exploring science, technology, and the cosmos with curiosity, and humour.
