Lina Abdulkarim is a Palestinian–American children’s book author and healthcare professional whose work blends storytelling with social awareness.
Her debut book, It Could Have Been Me, was selected as a Booklist Editors’ Choice and praised by Kirkus Reviews as “a poignant and compassionate introduction to the concepts of displacement and mutual aid.” The book was longlisted for the Palestine Book Awards and adapted into an animated short film that was selected for screening at several international film festivals.
