Marjorie Lotfi
Marjorie Lotfi is an award-winning American–Iranian–Scottish poet, and author. Her work has been widely published, including on London’s Poems on the Underground.
Her debut collection, The Wrong Person to Ask, won the 2024 Forward Prize for Best First Collection, and a James Berry Award, and was shortlisted for the Saltire Prize for Best Book of Poetry.
Lotfi has been recognised as one of UNESCO Cities of Literature’s ILX 10 ‘Rising Stars of UK Writing,’ and she is also a member of the Royal Literary Fund’s Writers’ Mosaic.
