Mark Fiddes
Mark Fiddes is a British poet and creative director living and writing in the UAE. His third collection, Other Saints Are Available, has cemented his reputation as a leading contemporary poet, and he is the recipient of this year’s Ledbury Poetry Prize and the International Plaza Prize. His recent work has appeared in The London Magazine, Poetry Review, The Irish Times, The Madrid Review, The Forward Book of Poetry, and The Morning Star. A graduate of Merton College, Oxford University, Mark’s diverse career has taken him from the US Congress in Washington, D.C., to London’s Adland in Soho, as well as across Africa and the Middle East. His fourth poetry collection is set to be published by Broken Sleep next summer.
