Mazen Nahawi
Mazen Nahawi is the President of News Group, an organisation dedicated to strengthening client communications across the digital and PR landscape. The group includes several strategic businesses, among them CARMA, a global media intelligence leader; SOCIALEYEZ, a digital engagement agency; and Interactive Ltd, a software development company specialising in eGovernment services. With more than 25 years of experience, Nahawi’s leadership delivers meaningful impact in media monitoring, analytics, communications, media strategy and reputation measurement.
A recognised thought leader at the intersection of media, technology and communications, Nahawi has been widely featured in both mainstream and trade publications, including The New York Times, PR Week and Campaign Middle East. He has spoken at major industry gatherings such as the MEPRA Leadership Majlis in Saudi Arabia, Zayed University NAC – Use of Technology in Media, the IPR Research Symposium in Dubai, the European Communication Summit 2018 and The Circle 2018 in Lisbon. In 2007, he launched the Middle East PR Measurement Summit, bringing together leading voices in PR and measurement.
In September 2024, Nahawi was named one of Arabian Business’s “100 Most Inspiring Leaders,” reinforcing his role as a key influencer in the media and PR industry.
