Micallar Walker
Micallar Walker is a marketer, event producer and audience development consultant with over 20 years’ experience delivering culturally resonant campaigns across the UK, Middle East and North Africa.
She is the founder of Dark Matter, an inclusive marketing agency connecting Global Majority audiences with culture and the arts. In 2024, Dark Matter supported over 50 books published in the UK and since launching, has contributed to multiple award-winning marketing campaigns.
In November 2025, Dark Matter produced the only UK event to launch Cynthia Erivo’s memoir – Simply More, which she attended in person.
Alongside her agency work, Micallar consults for various organisations helping them develop their audiences.
She divides her time between London and Dubai where she lives with her family, two cats and a recently adopted dog.
