Michael Pedersen
Michael Pedersen is a prize-winning Scottish author, former Writer in Residence at Edinburgh University, and Edinburgh’s Makar (Poet Laureate). His work spans fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, showcasing his versatility across genres. Pedersen has received numerous accolades, including a Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship and the Books Are My Bag Readers Award, and has been shortlisted for the Forward Poetry Prizes and the Saltire National Book Awards. A Sunday Times Critics’ Choice, his writing has been translated into French, German, Spanish, and Estonian, earning praise from acclaimed figures such as Stephen Fry, Bernardine Evaristo, Ocean Vuong, and Irvine Welsh.
