Mirna El Mahdy
Mirna El Mahdy is an Egyptian writer and translator specialising in French and Spanish. She has received several literary awards from the Canadian and French embassies, and the French Cultural Centre.
El Mahdy later turned her focus to suspense and thriller fiction, publishing several novels, most notably The Noah Al-Alfi Investigations Series, Jazz and Rock, and My Psychopathic Friend. Her novel My Grandmother’s Guide to Killing Bastards was longlisted for the Katara Literary Prize.
