Nasser Akram
Nasser Akram brings over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He began his career at BP Sharjah (formerly Amoco) in 1982, where he contributed to a wide range of projects across operations, engineering, safety, environment, and commercial relations.
He joined Dana Gas at its founding in 2006, serving as Director of Shareholder Affairs, overseeing a base of approximately 240,000 shareholders. Nasser was selected as a Board Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has been a distinguished lecturer across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the United States.
He also served as Chairman of the Emirates Safety Group and is an honorary board member of the Sharjah Tatweer Forum. Additionally, he was the first Emirati news anchor on Sharjah TV and Dubai TV.
Nasser holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Wisconsin, USA.
