Patrick Bringley

Patrick Bringley is the author of All the Beauty in the World, a memoir about his ten years working as a guard in New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Published in 2023. It was called “Exquisite… A beautiful tale about beauty. It is also a tale about grief, balancing solitude and comradeship, and finding joy in both the exalted and the mundane” by the Washington Post. The book has also been praised in the New York Times, Associated Press, Sunday Times, and elsewhere. Previously, Bringley worked in the editorial events office at the New Yorker. He lives with his wife and children in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
