Peter Frankopan is Professor of Global History at the University of Oxford and UNESCO Professor of Silk Road Studies at King’s College, Cambridge. Frankopan is the author of many prize-winning books, including The Silk Roads: A New History of the World, a global bestseller and Sunday Times Book of the Decade, The New Silk Roads: The Present and Future of the World, and most recently The Earth Transformed: An Untold History, which the Financial Times praised for transforming our understanding of history. Frankopan’s work explores global connections and the forces shaping the modern world.
