Salha Obeaid

Salha Obaid is an Emirati writer. She published her first collection of short stories entitled Alzheimer’s in 2010, which was translated into German in 2011, followed by two collections of short stories, The Pursuit of Happiness and The Implicit White Wig.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Culture and Science Symposium in Dubai and the founder of the Cultural Community Project. She won the Emirates Youth Award for her creative writing in 2017 and in 2018 published the novel Maybe It's A Joke with Mediterranean Publications Italy and was longlisted for the Sheikh Zayed Book Award in 2020.
