Sarah Al Sarraf

Sarah Al-Sarraf is an Iraqi journalist, broadcaster and writer who comes from a family of well-established writers.

After graduating from the Faculty of Arts at Al-Mustansiriya University's English Department in 1997, she began her journalism career as a news editor at the Iraq satellite channel. She then relocated to the UAE where, alongside her media career, started raising awareness on various topics through social media platforms, eventually becoming a prominent influencer in the region.

Al-Sarraf spent 14 years writing her debut novel, I Heard It All, which is set in Baghdad in the 1980s and serves as a sentimental nod to that era.
