Shane McGinley
Shane McGinley is an award-winning journalist and author with more than 25 years of experience. Based in Dubai since 2008, he has held senior editorial roles at the likes of Expo 2020 Dubai, Arabian Business and Thomson Reuters.
He is currently News Editor at Arabian Gulf Business Insight (AGBI.com) and a regular TV contributor to Al Arabiya English.
An aspiring crime writing author, he won the Pitch Perfect competition at the Bloody Scotland International Crime Writing Festival in 2023. He is represented by the A.M. Heath Literary Agency in London and is working on his debut novel.
