Sharon King-Chai
Sharon King-Chai is an award-winning author and illustrator, originally from Sydney, Australia, and now based in London. She began her career designing album covers and children’s books, which inspired her own storytelling.
King-Chai has collaborated with Julia Donaldson on several award-winning titles, including Animalphabet, and her debut book, Starbird, won the Greenaway Shadower’s Choice Award in 2021.
She is also creating a new series of baby board books, Mirror Magic, and has launched her own range of greeting cards and art prints.
