Wassim Said
Wassim Said is a sustainability, technology and security advisor working at the intersection of policy, science and public value, with a particular focus on polar sciences, climate, environment, water and food systems. His career spans the private and non-profit sectors, bringing a cross-disciplinary perspective to national-level government programmes. Educated across policy research, public administration, international affairs, theology, food security and engineering, he draws inspiration from a modern “renaissance” approach to problem-solving. He currently serves as an Advisor to the UAE Presidential Court, a Steering Committee Member of the Emirates Polar Program, an Advisory Council Member of the Arctic Circle Polar Dialogue, and a Board Member and Investment Committee Chair at Mawarid Holding Investment.
