Ibrahim Althehli
Ibrahim Althehli is an Emirati media professional and tourism expert. He graduated from UAE University with a degree in Media and Politics in 1989 and began his career as a political researcher at the office of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
In 2000, he founded Asfar, the first specialized travel and tourism magazine in the UAE, and writes a weekly column for Al Ittihad newspaper titled “Before Takeoff.” He has visited nearly 200 countries, delivered lectures on tourism culture, and received local and international awards for photography and contributions to Arab tourism media.
His publications include Al Asa, Abu Dhabi: Memories of the Past, and Asfari, documenting his travel experiences. He also serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and is active on social media.
